Knox Home was founded in 2025 by Sean Simpson and Davis Knox to deliver a higher level of service to homeowners in the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut. Our mission is to provide peace of mind through personalized service and an eye for every detail so that your home is always ready for you to enjoy. Our business is built on three core values.

Sean Simpson, General Manager & Co-Founder
Sean Simpson grew up in Naugatuck, Connecticut and has served in law enforcement for over 30 years there and also in Middlebury, Connecticut. During this time he maintained a passion for carpentry and home improvement - so much so that he built his own home in the area. Sean has a meticulous eye for detail and is a great communicator, making it easy to work with him. Sean is also an extremely dependable guy with strong vendor relationships throughout northwest Connecticut. He and his family currently reside in Watertown.
Davis Knox, Co-Founder
Davis is a seasoned entrepreneur having founded multiple businesses over his 25 year career. Davis and his family own a home on Milton Road in Litchfield, which they recently remodeled. In the last few years, he also remodeled and sold a historic 1750s home on West Street in Morris. He and his wife Gena have four children, two of which are attending the Rumsey Hall School in Washington Depot. Davis is a hands-on type of guy who enjoys renovation work and especially creating inviting spaces for entertaining friends.
